AI Copilot New

Meet Kai.

Kai is the AI copilot built into Skale. It watches every entity’s compliance state and does the busywork — drafts client messages, prepares filing checklists, flags what’s due, and answers your team’s questions. You stay in control: Kai proposes, you review and approve.

  • Drafts & replies
Writes client updates and filing notes in your voice — ready to review and send.
  • Deadline radar
Surfaces renewals and filings before they’re due, per entity and jurisdiction.
  • Filing prep
Assembles the checklist and documents for each obligation, ready for your sign-off.

What’s coming up for Meridian this month?
K

Meridian Corporate Services has two items due soon — a VAT return and a trade-licence renewal. I’ve drafted a heads-up note to the client and prepared the renewal checklist. Want to review?

Kai never contacts a client on its own — you review and approve every action.
The problem

Compliance is tracked in fragments. So it breaks in fragments.

Every consultant runs the same patchwork — and the gaps between the tools are exactly where the misses happen.

A spreadsheet per client

Renewal dates live in workbooks, WhatsApp threads and someone’s memory. Nothing connects — and nobody owns the whole picture.

A different tool per market

One portal for licensing, another for tax, a third for visas. Every jurisdiction is its own silo, re-keyed by hand.

Deadlines that slip silently

A licence lapses, so the establishment card can’t renew, so the visas freeze — and the first anyone hears of it is a penalty.

One system of record

Every client's obligations, in one place.

Skale holds every registration, filing and renewal for every entity you manage — with the dependencies between them mapped, so the whole book is legible at a glance and nothing hides in a silo.

What it does

The work, not just the reminder.

Four things Skale does for every entity you manage — each shown on an example UAE workspace.

See everything due

The whole book, sorted by days left.

One risk list across every client and jurisdiction — soonest first, colour-coded by urgency. No workbook to open, no thread to scroll.

Warned before it slips

A deadline flags up to 90 days out.

Skale watches every date and raises it early — with the downstream obligations it protects attached, so you renew in the right order and the reminder is on record.

Bill the work

Proposal → tasks → invoice, e-invoicing-ready.

A renewal becomes a priced proposal, an accepted proposal becomes the task list, and completed work becomes the invoice — structured for local e-invoicing mandates.

AI inbox

AI drafts. You confirm.

Documents and messages land in one inbox. Skale reads them, updates the record and drafts the reply or the reminder — a person reviews and sends. The AI prepares; the consultant decides.

Thanks — passport received and filed. We'll start the visa renewal today; no action needed from your side.

The difference

Others list dates. Skale maps what depends on what.

Compliance moves as a chain: renew the licence late and the card, the visas and their insurance all move with it. Skale models those links — so one change updates every downstream date, and you see the knock-on before it happens.

The cost of a miss

A missed deadline has a number.

These are the standing UAE Corporate Tax penalties, one example of the exposure a system of record removes. Every jurisdiction Skale supports has its own penalty regime, tracked the same way. Illustrative, and verified against the Federal Tax Authority.

Late tax registration — UAE
Missed the FTA corporate tax registration deadline
Late annual return — Canada / Singapore
Filed after the CRA or ACRA deadline
Failure to lodge — Australia
ASIC or ATO lodgement missed
AED 10,000
UAE — one-time administrative penalty
A fixed penalty for failing to register for Corporate Tax within the FTA's deadline.
Cabinet Decision No. 75 of 2023, as amended by Cabinet Decision No. 10 of 2024 (effective 1 March 2024). A conditional waiver applies if the first Corporate Tax return is filed within 7 months of the end of the first tax period — so it is avoidable, not automatic. Source: UAE FTA.
Why it matters

Built so a deadline never slips silently.

One

Licences, cards, visas, insurance, VAT and corporate tax for every client — in a single system of record, not six tools.

90 days

How far ahead Skale can flag a deadline, so renewals start before anything slips into a penalty.

1 3

Change one renewal date and the downstream obligations it protects update with it — the dependency chain does the math.

These describe what the product does — Skale is pre-revenue and in pilot, so there are no customer metrics to quote yet.
